James Bryan

  • James guides NorUS as our CEO. He brings over a decade commercial solar project development experience along with an entrepreneurial background necessary to navigate NorUS from start up to maturity.

    James co-developed and financed over 100 MW of commercial and municipal solar projects in the US.

    He holds a BA in Economics from Cornell University and a MBA with honors from LaSalle University.

Jørn Barkenæs

  • Jørn Barkenæs steers the financial future of NorUS with a depth of international experience in financial analysis, accounting and compliance across several industries.

    Jørn is a Partner of Northsea Capital AS and he is a sought-after management consultant. He has held senior positions in oil and gas, processing industry, and infrastructure.

    Jørn holds a MSC, Certified European Financial Analyst and a MBA in Finance.

Yung Wong

Chief Technical Officer

  • Yung Wong has a passion for creating innovative solutions for commercial-scale solar power plants. With extensive experience in designing and implementing system designs, energy models, project cost estimates, and feasibility studies, Yung is well-equipped to provide expert guidance and support throughout the development process.

    He holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with a specialization in Clean Energy Systems.

Mohamed Attoumane

Country Manager - Morocco

  • Mohamed Attoumane leads our local sales efforts with his extensive knowledge and experience in the solar industry.

    His past experiences include Director of Operations Isofoton Morocco, Business Development Director Temasol/Sunpower, Developed and constructed over 75MWc solar projects ERD, SHS, pumping, Technical systems for decentralized rural electrification ERD, ADEME-INSTEN/France, and Agro-economist engineer, IAV Rabat; Financial engineering, ISCAE Rabat

Geir Hartmann

  • Geir is a co-founder and lead investor in NorUS. He is active in advising and guiding NorUS through its growth stage, as he has done with other successful companies.

    Middle-East studies at the University of Oslo.

    Worked several years as independent newspaper reporter in the Middel-East and reads and speaks some Arabic.

George Lambros

  • George Lambros brings a unique combination of international business experience and financial expertise to the Board, along with extensive professional operating history in the Middle East and Africa.

    George has held a wide range of management and financial positions at leading global organizations, including Tyco International and Ryder System.

    He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA with honors from Indiana University.

Ove Bugge

  • Ove has experience as managing director and senior advisor for several renewable energy companies, and other management roles, in Norway, Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, and South-East Asia.

    He holds an M.Sc. in power engineering and postgraduate studies in instrumentation and controls engineering from the Norwegian Institute of Technology.
